Why no Clear Outside?
I have been working with weather models for several years to try to get a handle on the highly localized weather at Fremont Peak. In conjunction with that effort I am deprecating the "astronomy" forecasts here and on the FPOA webpages
I am in the process of replacing it with new material.

Aviation
Both Astronomers and Pilots care about accurate predictions of clouds. Since aviation has a greater economic benefit, Pilots get better weather forecasts.
