As we were in the transfer bus for the one hour ride to the hotel I noticed a lot of coughing. I had joined the party. By early evening it was clear that I was the latest recipient of the group cold.
The next morning I stayed in bed while Carrie explored the jungle and did the zip line.
If anyone is willing to share pictures of Carrie on the zip line please let me know
So my story will begin in the afternoon once I felt well enough to be around people if I kept my distance
I really wanted to take part in the rum and chocolate tasting. I figured if I set up at the far end of the bar everyone would be safe. So that is what happened. On half of the bar was reserved for me and everyone else had places on the other end.
Our last activity was a sunset cruise. Because I was close to people I had to mask up again. Still it was nice to get out of the room even though I was not feeling like a social butterfly.
The next morning it was back to Miami and then on the next day home.
